Based on the traditional sparkling grape varieties of France, this blend is predominantly Chardonnay with a small amount of Pinot Noir to add a touch of colour and complexity. Grapes are picked early to retain crisp acidity, but still have ripe varietal fruit flavours. A consistent quality and style are achieved by blending a range of vintages resulting in a wine with delicate balance and vibrant harmony.
Golden, with a hint of blush in colour, this fresh and delicate wine has subtle yeasty aromas with a creamy citrus twist. Not too sweet and not too dry, this perfectly balanced sparkling has toasted, nutty flavours filling out the complex palate with a fruit driven burst of bubbles to finish. This is best served chilled at any occasion where celebration is required.
The perfect aperitif! Think tall, elegant sparkling flutes next to a round of oozing, soft white Brie or freshly shucked oysters served with wedges of lemon. Our favourite time to enjoy this is during the Spring Racing season, eating freshly picked asparagus spears wrapped in prosciutto, smashed broad bean bruschetta or roasted beetroot, walnut and goats cheese parcels and finishing with lemon curd tartlets and new season strawberries.
